Lobster to my Eggs Benni at Rustic Pearl - Surry Hills

I always love spending my time in Surry Hills! As one of the suburbs with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops, Surry Hills offer a great range of dishes inspired by flavours from all over the world!

Inspired by the Eastern European dish, Timur Celik (Le Cordon Blue's Trained Chef) gives some twist to the breakfast items you often see on other places' menu - that explains the queue outside this intimate place especially on weekends!

Since I was craving for their Benni, this place was chosen as the place to catch up with Zomato (Ps: It was a fun meeting you, Nick! ;D)

I ordered their delicate Hot Chocolate with Rose Water to start with while Nick ordered the Fresh Coconut with Fresh Fruit which he said was fresh and incredible! The Hot Chocolate was light and lovely from the first sip.. It was not overwhelmingly rich, had the right balance of sweet floral notes and unmistakably rosy aroma!

This Bosphorus Benedict was the answer to my egg benni craving! Two perfectly poached organic eggs and avocado smashed over a toasted bread were not complete without the succulent Bay Lobster! Garnished with fresh coriander and chilli, the sweet and juicy lobster pieces were a perfect match for the creamy house-made hollandaise sauce!

If you need a light meal, Farmer Jo's Paleo Granola is one of the best options to choose from the menu.. Plus you can never go wrong with the combination of seasonal fresh fruits, honey, and whipped orange blossom yoghurt on top of pile of granola right?
