Singapore FIRST Kumoya X Cinnamoroll Pop-Up Cafe (LIMITED TIME ONLY!) at Jalan Klapa!

To celebrate the 15th anniversary, CINNAMOROLL is finally coming to Singapore! I can't contain my excitement when I learnt that Kumoya, Singapore's first Halal-certified Japanese-French cafe, will do a pop-up cafe collaboration with this beloved character from 17 May 2017 to 13 August 2017.

A lil bit of Cinnamoroll background if you have no idea what it is all about. So, Cinnamoroll is Sanrio's character - a white puppy (not bunny) with long ears, blue eyes, pink cheeks, and a plump curly tail that resembles a cinnamon roll.

See how cute it is! I used to collect and even named my school stationery with Cinnamoroll's name stickers when I was a kid (LOL!)

The place itself has been fully redecorated in line with the theme - clouds (Cinnamoroll was born on a cloud and Kumoya in Japanese refers to fluffy, light cloud house FYI). Dominated by soft blue and white color and together with a special menu styled by the one and only Shirley Wong aka Little Miss Bento, the whole experience is designed to be a wonderful experience for all Cinnamoroll fans!

I guess enough for the intro and here are some of the items that I got to try..

Start from the beverages side, this one is called Cutie Cutie Special Cinnamoroll Blue Soda - $14.90
Get your Instagram ready for some pouring action as its soda water is served separately. What you have in the glass is blue curacao syrup with nata de coco topped with a cute cotton candy Cinnamoroll!
Ps: The cotton candy melts quite fast, so better speed up when you take photos =)

Kiss Me Sweet Cafe Latte - $8.90
If you prefer hot drink, try this cute latte brewed to perfection from UCC Japanese coffee beans. The latte art was still intact even after I took a sip and accidentally spilled some!

Flying Clouds Cinnamoroll Burger - $17.90
Moving on to the mains, bite into this juicy crispy chicken katsu together with the cute mantou burger bun. Served with potato chips with nacho cheese, heart-shaped chicken ham, cloud-shaped fish cakes, and salad - the chicken was well seasoned, the mantou bun was fluffy and gave slight sweetness to the overall taste. Just in case, if you're wondering - the ear part is made from cookies!

Fly In The Clouds Yuzu Chiffon Cake - $15.90
Served with fluffy cotton candy, fresh cream and mixed berries on the side, this chiffon cake is infused with yuzu. For me personally, I found the yuzu flavor was too mild and the overall taste was a tad too sweet for my liking. If you're a serious sweet tooth, you might like this one.

Cinnamoroll Berries Fantasy Parfait - $17.90
A cute rendition of Kumoya's best seller dessert, the Parfait! Enjoy the special double swirl frozen yoghurt, served with a slice of cotton cheesecake, mixed berries, limited-edition macarons, and a very soft, creamy, smooth, and jiggly milk pudding. To make it even merrier and more colorful, there is a special Blue Lagoon sauce for you to pour it over and fluffy cotton candy on the side!

Don't forget to also order the Limited Edition Cinnamoroll Eclairs! Served as a set of 2 ($7.90) or a set of 4 ($13.90), there are 4 different designs with chocolate and vanilla fillings. Guess which one is which?

Please also note that:
- All menu items are not available for take-away, except for the eclairs.
- All prices are subjected to 10% service charge.
- Dining time is limited to 90 minutes and there is a minimum spending of $10 per person.
