With its prime location on the north side of the beach plus their social media sensation's colorful-yet-cute donuts and cronuts, it's not surprising to see Speedo's as a favourite meeting place for both locals and visitors.

Speedo's has an extensive menu that offers a range of delicious wholesome goodies to suit both clean and mean eaters. You can also create your own dish with their friendly and attentive floor staffs if you want to! So, together with Angie from The Girls Who Ate The World,  we decided to visit Speedo's and we were quite surprised to see how busy and packed this place was although the weather was so wet and wild on last Sunday.

This pretty dish is called Fig Tree, I love how the sweet lightness of ricotta and a drizzle of honey make it a perfect breakfast star. Spread it on a good sourdough toast with berries, figs and crushed pistachios, this dish is even more charming with the addition of Persian fairy floss on top.

Coconut and tapioca are totally meant to be together and both make a delicious pudding base that go well with any kind of toppings. Speedo's makes their Summer Coconut Bowl with mango, blueberries, strawberries, figs, pepitas and toasted coconut flakes. It's creamy and refreshing as the coconut also lends itself well to a tropical summer theme.

Chia seeds are packed with all the powerful nutrients and together with coconut milk they are great for breakfast, snack or even dessert. Speedo's takes their own Coconut Chia pudding into the next level by serving it in a form of a parfait in a pot jar. The creamy chia pudding is served at the bottom of jar and topped with macqui berries, watermelon, veganola and the oh-so-refreshing CocoWhip with some berries and fresh cut kiwi.

There's always room for some desserts especially for this cuties! All cronuts have the same cinnamon sugar as the flavour base - Speedo's buys it ready made and garnishes it themselves. I personally love the Reeses Peanut Butter flavour with extra chocolate and peanut butter syringes on top. Just in case if you're wondering the minion on top is a plastic toy (LOL!)
